Vintage 14k Yellow Gold Freeform Ring with Mine Cut Diamond Size 5.5
Stunning vintage 1980s solid 14k Yellow Gold free-form style ring with an approximately .20 carat J-color and I1-clarity old Mine cut natural Diamond prong set in the center. Stamped with a maker's mark and '14kp' (kp stands for karat plumb - made to be exactly 14k Gold). This unique size 5.5 ring weighs approximately 7.29 grams and is in excellent condition for its age. Old Mine cut Diamonds were most common in the 18th and 19 century so this Diamond has been 'upcycled' - mined, cut and worn in something well before the ring was made for it.
