Gorgeous natural Shattuckite in Dioptase oval-ish cabochon from the Congo, measuring approximately 35.1 x 24.0 x 8.3 mm, and weighing approximately 53.90 carats (10.78g). This beautiful gemstone primarily displays the 'emerald' green of Dioptase, patterned with white and blue. This gem is new, hand-shaped in 2020, and is best suited as a display specimen or bezel-set for a pendant.

Shattuckite is a relatively rare and captivating copper silicate mineral, highly prized by collectors for its mesmerizing shades of blue, ranging from vivid azure and deep cerulean to captivating indigo, often with intriguing swirls and patterns of lighter and darker tones. Its striking color is attributed to its copper content, and it frequently forms in association with other copper minerals such as Malachite, Chrysocolla, and Azurite, sometimes creating stunning multi-mineral specimens.
